Police investigating a serious injury collision on the A26 at Rose Hill, near Isfield, at 4.20pm on Thursday 13 July, are keen to speak to the driver of a white Volkswagen Polo who may have key information about the crash.

The incident involved a red Fiat 500, a white Mitsubiushi Fuso lorry and a white Citroen C3, and blocked the road for several hours.

The VW is believed to have been following the red Fiat southbound but was not involved in the collision. The driver and passenger in the Fiat, a man and and a woman from Tunbridge Wells and both aged 59, sustained serious injuries and currently remain in hospital.

PC Ian Foxton, of the serious collision investigation unit, said: "I'd be most grateful if the VW driver would get in touch, and also anyone else who may have seen what happened but who has not yet spoken to police."

They are asked to email, report details online here or phone 101, quoting Operation Drew.
