Are you the woman in this picture?

Police would like to trace the woman in the picture as there are concerns for her welfare.

Officers received a call on 10 August from a member of the public who was worried about a woman she had seen walking towards Eastbourne railway station.

The woman was reported to have cuts to her face and was wearing a bandage on her right arm. She told the member of the public she had been attacked by her boyfriend’s dog and was not allowed to leave her flat.

The woman is described as white, 5’ 8”, of skinny build, in her late 20s and with light brown hair in a bun. She was wearing a green parker jacket, jeans and carrying two bags, one of which had a children's pattern on it.

PC Leon Franco said: “We are keen to trace the woman in the picture to ensure she is safe.

“We know she was trying to get a train to Crawley but without a ticket she failed to board the train.

“Are you the woman in the picture or do you know who she is?

“We want to help and ensure the correct support is provided.”
