Most police forces should be able to accommodate this request. Telephone your local police force and speak to the dog section nearest to your school. The dog handlers and dogs will show some of the skills that the dog has in searching for things such as drugs.

Usually, there will be a general-purpose dog and a drugs dog that will attend. If there is a safe area outside the school and two dog handlers visit then it may be possible for them to demonstrate some of the criminal work that the dogs can do.
