Chichester Police has donated £200 to Fishbourne Playing Field
Association to help pay for the children's play park equipment and
ongoing activities.
The donation comes from the Police Property Act Fund (PPAF), made
up of monies received by the police from property confiscated by
order of the court and then sold.
PCSO Karen Hopewell said: "It is good to see money from the
proceeds of crime being reinvested into the local community and
especially for such a worthwhile cause as this."

Police have donated £250 to East
Sussex Council for Voluntary Youth Services to help fund its award
ceremony at the Winter Garden, Eastbourne on Tuesday 30 April.
The presentation was made by the
East Sussex Divisional Commander Acting Chief Superintendent Neil
Honnor. The award will go towards the overall cost of the event and
the trophies.
Arwyn Evans, Chief Executive of SPARK - A Network for Young
People's Organisations, said: "We are delighted that Sussex Police
are supporting the volunteer award category at the SPARK award
ceremony. This will be a great encouragement to the young people
and organisations who are part of the SPARK network."

Acting Chief Superintendent Neil Honnor said: "SPARK provide a
valuable service to the many organisations that work with young

Rother Police has donated £250 to Bexhill Foodbank and £200 to
Bexhill Street Pastors to aid in the running of both
initiatives.
Alison Marchant, of Bexhill Street Pastors, said: "We have not
been going a year, but have been delighted with the way things have
gone and the increasing support, encouragement and trust we have
received from the public, Police and Local Authority."
Jan Wood, of Bexhill Foodbank, said: "Thank you for the
opportunity to speak to your colleagues yesterday (25 April) and
for the very generous donation of £250 to Bexhill Foodbank
Funds."

Chief Inspector Katy Woolford said: "I'd like to thank Bexhill
Foodbank and Bexhill Street Pastors for all the work they do for
vulnerable people and those in crisis across Rother district.
"On Thursday, 25 April representatives from both organisations
joined Rother Neighbourhood Policing Team to talk about their role
in the community. Both have not been in operation long but have
already become important throughout Rother.
"I am delighted to be able to hand over these donations. They are
both incredibly worthy causes and I look forward to their continued
work and support in our communities."

Bexhill Police has donated £200 to Little Common Playgroup to
fund transport for an educational day trip to Mill Bank Farm.
Julie Webster, Manager of Little Common Playgroup said: "I'd
like to thank PCSO Roy Collins and Bexhill Neighbourhood Policing
Team for their generous donation. It will be used to help fund
transportation for a day trip which I am sure all of the children
will love."
